The TSETSE Gallery is more than simply a space for presentation of fine art. With a highly developed community focus and interest in the impact of art on individual and community development, it is the belief of our Founder and Executive Director, Mrs. Therese Lavallee, that art, as a tool, can be used to heal and help us overcome obstacles to success and reach our potential. It is through that belief that the TSETSE Gallery has taken on a social responsibility to address society's problems and seek solutions.

Exhibitions at The TSETSE Gallery foster a dialogue between artists, advocates and the community. Collaborations with varied organizations allow the gallery to function not only as an art venue, but as an educational center as well.

In addition to our programs for all of Rhode Island's children, our Children's Gallery has received numerous commendations for it's work with special needs children, most notably from the Rhode Island Supreme and Family Court Systems and DCYF. Offering art classes, a summer camp and a beautiful space for the display of their work, children involved in our programs also participate and learn from the monthly shows in the main gallery.

Please feel free to contact us for more information regarding our programs, events, artists, renting the gallery space for special events and fundraisers, or how you may become a donor, member or sponsor.
